The Pilcrows Came Tumbling Down

If somehow French electronic duo Daft Punk traveled back in time, they could be a possible explanation for the plague. 16th century Frenchmen would probably be unprepared to deal with the propulsive rhythm or catchy basslines of french house and faced with a DJ set of such would almost undoubtedly be so driven to dance that they wouldn’t be able to stop until their bodies collapsed from exhaustion.

Admittedly, there would be no available electrical outlets for Daft Punk to plug their equipment into, but they perhaps could have brought a large generator with them.
